THE WRITE PAGEI LOVE book clubs and belong to two of the very best. My longer-lasting group of friends–can’t say older–met and reviewed MAVERICK, MOVIES & MURDER in June and my second group did so in July. They all had such interesting and insightful perspectives. Sullivan Group ReMax Advantage Plus sponsor a fabulously attended book signing in New Prague with family, old friends, and new acquaintances. I celebrated Cocktails and Conversation with local friends and signed books for Once Upon a Crime Bookstore in Minneapolis and Barnes and Noble in Edina. Thank you for following my Katie and Maverick stories. I am so very fortunate and can’t wait to see what happens next. I’ve included photos, below, for you to enjoy.YOU’RE IN THE KNOW!BOOKSWEEPS

BOOKFUNNEL MYSTERY GIVEAWAY!!!
PUZZLE SOLUTION FROM MAVERICK, MOVIES & MURDERI tried to explain the solution to THREE+THREE+FIVE=ELEVEN, but found it’s easier to see the answer, so I wrote it out and have included in on the MORE page of my website if you are so inclined. ISSUE 3 RIDDLE SOLUTIONThe words are matched on the basis of similar or related meanings so you need to be flexible and have a well-developed sense of the ridiculous!
1. Second hand – very brief applause
2. String bass – keep your catch
3. Myself – theme (the me)
4. One who kids around – at ease (a tease)
5. Snowy place – skip lace (ski place)
WHO IS WHO?
When they were younger, Andy, Ben, Charles, and David dreamed of becoming an Artist, a Brewer, a Cartographer, and a Dentist. They were members of A, B, C, and D houses at the same university, and they came from Austria, Belize, Canada, and Denmark. The letter of each man’s house, the the initial letters of his youthful ambition, his home, and his name are all different. The would-be Dentist had never been to Belize, and the would-be Brewer had never been to Canada. When they were young, Charles, the boy from Austria, and the would-be Brewer all used to spend their holidays together.
What was the dream, the house and the home country of each?
