Mary HAPPY FALL!
Time for baking at our house. I’m trying out a new recipe for my seventh Katie and Maverick cozy mystery. Does a honey cake (Medovnik) sound appealing? I’m on my second try. Do you have a favorite recipe?
Last Newletter Riddle Answer: What is a math teacher’s favorite dessert? PI Riddle Answer 2: Old Grandpa Adams left half his money to his granddaughter and half that amount to his grandson. He left a sixth to his brother, and the remainder, $1,000, to the Old Dogs’ Home. How much did he leave altogether? $12,000
NEW RIDDLE: What are the next three letters in this combination? OTTFFSS
THE WRITE STUFF
It’s October! Can you believe it? The leaves are turning red, orange, and yellow-it looks like it will be a good fall. On October 1, the predicted high is a very unusual 90° F. I am praying for more temperate weather.
