HOT BUTTERED RUM BATTER

Various Cocktails

1 quart of vanilla ice cream (softened)

1 lb brown sugar

½ lb butter (softened)

cinnamon

nutmeg

cloves

Mix first three ingredients well and freeze batter. When ready to use, thaw for thirty minutes. Put 2 T in a mug with 1 scant shot of rum (or not). Fill with hot milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or cloves.
